Print-On-Demand Perfect Bound Books
Digitally printed Perfect Bound Books (paperbacks) are printed on top notch digital graphical printers – Ricoh Digital Press Pro C7110x, Konica Minolta Bizhub 1051, Xerox 4127 and Xerox 700. Inside pages printed black & white on 50lb bright white offset, full-color covers printed on a heavy 12 pt. C1S with gloss or matte protective lamination. If your book has full-color inside pages, we can also print your book in full color process on 70lb uncoated premium offset paper, 80lb or 100lb gloss or matte paper. Inside pages can be printed in b/w or full color. Common sizes for paperbacks are 8.5″x11″, 5.5″x8.5″ and 6″x9″.
Coil Bound Books are printed on digital graphical printers – Ricoh Digital Press Pro C7110x, Konica Minolta Bizhub 1051, Xerox 4127 and Xerox 700. Inside pages are usually printed black & white on 50# bright white offset, full-color covers printed on a heavy 12 pt. C1S with gloss or matte protective lamination. If your book has full-color inside pages, we can also print your book in full color process on 70lb uncoated premium offset paper, 80lb or 100lb gloss or matte paper. It is best for less than 150 sheets of paper (300 pages), beyond that would recommend Wire-O binding. Common sizes for Coil Bound Books are 9″x12″, 8.5″x11″, 5.5″x8.5″ and 6″x9″.

Inside pages are usually printed black & white on 50lb bright white offset, full-color covers printed on a heavy 12 pt. C1S with gloss or matte protective lamination. If your book has full-color inside pages, we can also print your book in full color process on 70lb uncoated premium offset paper, 80lb or 100lb gloss or matte paper. Best solution for thick books, such as manuals and coursewares. This binding is best for over 100 pages (50 sheets of paper). Otherwise, Coil binding is recommended for page count of 100 pages or less (less than 50 sheets of paper). Common sizes for Coil Bound Books are 9″x12″, 8.5″x11″, 5.5″x8.5″ and 6″x9″.
Print-On-Demand Saddle Stitched Books
Typical short run Saddle Stitched Books are bound together with metal staples, printed on digital graphical printers – Ricoh Digital Press Pro C7110x, Konica Minolta Bizhub 1051, Xerox 4127 and Xerox 700. Full-color covers printed on 10 pt or 12 pt C1S with gloss or matte protective lamination. If your book has full-color inside pages, print your book in full color process on 70lb uncoated premium offset paper, 80lb or 100lb gloss or matte paper. Saddle Stitch binding is recommended for books below 80 pages (less than 40 sheets) and the total number of pages must be divisible by 4. This binding option is most commonly used for magazines, notepads and comic books.
